The Recovery Associates of the Palm Beaches is an outpatient treatment center that offers specialized gender and Christian groups as part of a comprehensive approach to treating drug and alcohol addiction. Being able to share openly and reach out to others is an important part of recovery. By sharing our experiences, we are opening ourselves up for growth and change. We learn that we are not alone and are able to offer hope to others.
While mixed groups certainly have their benefits, many of those attending an outpatient treatment center find that specialized gender groups provide a safe and comfortable environment for men and women to share openly and honestly. Men’s groups and women’s groups allow our clients to share personal experiences and identify with others. Specialized gender groups create the opportunity to form strong bonds and develop a sense of community. Some find that it is easier to focus and participate in these types of groups.
Some of the specialized gender groups we offer as part of our outpatient treatment program include:

- AA Brotherhood (Men’s Group)
- 12 Step Groups for Men/Women
Our outpatient treatment center also provides Christian groups for clients in our Christian track. Our Christian groups utilize the principles and teachings of Christianity alongside traditional therapeutic methods and the 12 Steps. These groups teach a Christ-centered approach to the 12 Steps and show clients how to turn to the Bible as a way to find answers. Christian groups allow clients to focus on strengthening their relationship with God and deepening their faith. At our outpatient treatment center, we give you the option of attending groups led by Christian therapists who provide guidance and support through relating their own experiences and the challenges that they have overcome on their journey of faith.
